Record Box Office for CZ12
According to reports issued by the official Movie Zodiac on Weibo CZ12 had a record breaking opening day in China, with a box office of 43.5 million Yuan.

Everyone knows that during the 70s and 80s，the gangs in Hongkong were really wild for a time.They used fierce methods to force the artists to make movies following their directions and I'm one of the actors who never gave in. Later I went to America and the triads followed after me.
They shot at the company where I was working. During that time I lived in Arizona, where everybody is allowed to carry a gun. I carried a gun with me to protect myself. What I was thinking is that if they do something to me, I will risk my life to strike back. This is the truth of the problem has attracted so much attention.
Because I'm a public person, what I say always causes misrepresentations and misunderstandings. Just like the problem at the premier of CZ12 (in Beijing). Our musical accompaniment had something wrong. We couldn't hear it when we stood on the stage and next day some people, on the internet, said that we lip-synched.
Expendables 3 has invited me, but actually I haven't make the final descision yet, but "I have signed up". Generally speaking, I'm a normal person with ordinary blood and ordinary muscle. I have feelings and I also have difficulties.
Today is not the last day of the earth, now as the Director I sincerely hope that you will go to the cinema to see this movie which is made with all of my painstaking care. I wish every audience could support good Chinese movies. Best wishes to you all.

CZ12 IN SHANGHAI
On the eve of the release of CZ12 Jackie and his co-stars Zhang Lan Xin, Laura Weissbecker and Yao Xing Tong were on hand in Shanghai to promote the movie to an enthuisiastic crowd of fans.
