The 21st Hundred Flowers Awards Closing Ceremony was held in Hangzhou, China on 29 September 2012. Jackie presented the award for Best Actor, as well as singing Tiantian Yue Yuan with Chen Sisi.

Eric Tsang's youngest son Mark Tsang, was married in Hong Kong on 21 September 2012. The traditional ceremony was attended by friends and family from all over the world.
On September 18th the ChinaVision Media Group held their 3rd anniversary banquet dinner at the Beijing World Trade Center. CEO Liu Xiaolin announced the company plans for the upcoming year which included a project reuniting Jackie and Ding Sheng (Little Big Soldier) tentatively titled "Police Story 2013". 16 September 2012 Jackie was the 'surprise' guest invited by Wang Lee Hom to join him onstage at his last concert in Hong Kong. Jackie and Lee Hom sang 'You Cai Hua' the theme song from "Little Big Soldier" and Jackie promoted his new movie "CZ12" to a capacity crowd.

Jackie took time out to visit the elderly at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto. One touching story from the visit was one elderly lady who had not spoken in years, but when she saw Jackie she screamed with joy and insisted on having a photo taken with him.
